Information entered into calculators

The calculator runs in your browser. Take-Home Plan does not ask you to create an account or intentionally store the paycheck and income amounts you enter. Do not enter account numbers or other sensitive identifying information.

Contact form

When you use the contact form, Take-Home Plan stores the name, email address, topic, message, and submission time you provide so we can review and respond to your message. Connection information may be processed temporarily to prevent spam and abuse. Do not submit sensitive financial or identifying information.

Technical information

Hosting, security, analytics, and advertising providers may process technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, pages visited, timestamps, and diagnostic events. This information may be used to operate, secure, measure, and improve the site.

Cookies and advertising

Take-Home Plan does not currently display third-party advertising. If advertising is added, this policy will be updated before ads are enabled. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies or similar technologies to serve, measure, and personalize ads based on visits to this and other websites. Visitors will receive consent or opt-out controls where required.

Affiliate links

The site may later include links that pay Take-Home Plan a commission when a visitor completes a qualifying action. Affiliate partners may use cookies or referral identifiers to attribute that action. Paid relationships will be disclosed near the relevant recommendation.

Take-Home Plan is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
