How affiliate links work

Some future links may allow Take-Home Plan to earn a commission when a visitor clicks and completes a qualifying purchase, application, or other action. The visitor may not pay a higher price because of the referral, but provider terms determine the final cost.

How paid relationships will be identified

A clear disclosure will appear near affiliate recommendations. We will use direct language such as: “Take-Home Plan may earn a commission if you open an account or purchase through links on this page.” A separate legal page will not be treated as the only disclosure.

Editorial separation

Compensation will not change calculator results. Recommendations should explain the intended user, material fees, limitations, alternatives, and important eligibility conditions. Inclusion will not mean a product is appropriate for every visitor.

Advertising

Take-Home Plan does not currently display third-party ads. If advertising is introduced, ads will be visually distinguishable from calculator controls and editorial recommendations.
